A Black and White Week

I decided to take a picture daily using the monochrome setting.  I think I was inspired by a collection of Ansel Adams' pictures.  Looking at his work, one cannot help but be amazed.   He did this with film, not a digital camera.  It's not like there was a preview function.

One thing I like about monochrome is the way it makes water look.  It really picks up the highlights.  This picture was taken at a favourite park of mine, and it was taken after 7:30.  I really should have been there earlier, because while the light was nice, it could have been nicer about twenty minutes before.

Today, I'm headed to the Niagara Escarpment to take some pictures of amazing waterfalls.  I'm hoping to get a few good ones.
