Winter Photography

While the sun and sky have been bright outside, it hasn't exactly been good weather for photos.  It isn't really the cold; it's the lack of snow.  Standing out in the cold, getting cold fingers is worth it if you happen to catch a beautiful snow scene or a sundog.  But when it's frozen, snowless ground, it isn't too inspiring.

Instead, I'm trying to use my macro lens more.  After a miserable failure trying to photograph our chess set, I resorted to the duster that I had sitting out on the kitchen counter.  This is what I use for cobwebs at the ceiling level.

When it's full screen on my monitor, it's like being in pink grass.  I think I see some leftover cobwebs at the right hand side of the picture.
