One of my goals for this year was to take a picture with a mirror type reflection in the water. Last year, I took one of a swan at a local park, and then when I went to a friend's cottage in the Muskokas, I took one there.  I wanted one in the fall.

The trouble is the colours were not so vibrant as they were last year. Here we are at the end of October and there is still an abundance of green leaves. The weather was warmer this fall, and things stayed green longer. Nonetheless, on the second last day of October, I went to one of my favourite places to take pictures.

I wish the sky had not been overcast, and that the pond was a wee bit calmer, but considering rain is in the forecast for the next few days, I think yesterday was my last chance.  Be sure to click on the picture to make it bigger.
