Beautiful all year long
I have a Clematis at my front entrance. Because it doesn't get the best lighting possible, it isn't as lush as some, but it does get beautiful purple flowers.
Once the flowers fade and the fall comes in, it isn't all that pretty, but when winter comes and the ice melts from the eave above, it is transformed again.
As with photographing it in the summer, late afternoon is the best time to take its picture.
Now that I have a macro lens, I am eager for spring to arrive, so that I can capture some of that purple gorgeousness.
