Waiting for spring

It could be colder, so I'll not complain about the cold.  But it's windy, and the snow is now dirty, and the ground wet and bland.  I'm sure there's beauty in there somewhere, but instead, I've just been practicing with my macro lens.

I am looking forward to spring.

My front hallway faces west, and there is a window in the front door that illuminates my need for dusting.

This wasn't taken with my macro lens, but it's where I was two weeks ago today.

Don't let the sun fool you; it was very cold that day.

I'm sure this is a wonderful beach when summer arrives.  It was Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina, in the Outer Banks.
