I'm trying to learn more about being more purposed in composing my photos. I'm not very artistic, so this is a stretch for me.
Household items have provided me with a few attempts. I like how these turned out even if they seem to lack a "story."
This is my front door. I liked the colours and the texture, and the strange name of "Dexter."
This a shelf which hangs on my wall in the kitchen. As it sat bathed in morning light, I was struck at the grain and the direction of the lines.
The shelf has three small drawers; this is where the drawer and the edge of the shelf meet. I used black and white since I hoped to create a texture. This is a slow process, learning how to be creative.
