Down by the river
The Grand River is the largest river that is within southern Ontario's boundaries. I regularly driver over it on bridges as I make my way on the highways and byways. Last night, I finally had a chance to get down to its level.
I was able to get a few pictures of the sunset on the water, but I haven't looked very closely at them yet.
There is a trail nearby which was once a railroad. We were almost an hour away from home, but the trail is part of the system in our neighbourhood. Just like the trail near my house, this trail had some black raspberries.
I recently picked enough along our trail to make nine jars of jam, so we left these alone for someone else to pick.
